Do you ever have those days where the sun seems brighter, the birds sing more loudly, the smiles that greet you seem cheerier? Today was just one of those days for me. Last night I had one of those dinner parties I will remember for a long time – an opportunity to bring our friends together for a lovely dinner and terrific conversation. And today just seemed to be the perfect day – with a slow start and some final clean up from last night. Pat and I spent some time just catching up on a few things around the house and then went to a local pub for a snack – along the way we stopped and did some holiday elfing – it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Today I am grateful for…..
- The holiday season which reminds me once again how important it is to be in gratitude for all that we have.
- My wonderful father who calls me in the middle of the day to say hello.
- My mom who is the keeper of all sorts of wonderful bits of information.
- The love of my husband.
- An early night of rest to get me ready for the week.
